Now physicians have another choice – a simple and effective way to surgically close chronic and acute wounds. Wound Care Technologies is pleased to introduce the DermaClose® RC Continuous External Tissue Expander. This first of its kind tissue expander will facilitate the closure of wounds up to 15 cm in diameter by continuously expanding the skin around the wound until it has stretched enough to suture the wound edges closed. In many instances final closure can be done within as little as one hour. Larger wounds or wounds in certain areas of the body may require a day or more.
